Replacement non-rechargeable single-use AED battery, compatible with Medtronic Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR PLUS, part# 3202176-010. DO NOT CHARGE. The device only charges internal capacitor for shock delivery, it will NOT recharge this battery. Replace on expiry or depletion. Not OEM original battery.
Q: Can I remove a CHARGE-PAK from one CR Plus / EXPRESS AED and use it in another unit?
A: No. The CHARGE-PAK becomes internally coupled to the first AED it is inserted into. If you remove the CHARGE-PAK from one AED and install it into a different unit, it will not charge the second AED. Should this happen, the CHARGE-PAK must be discarded and replaced with a new one.
Q: How long does it take to charge the defibrillator's internal battery?
A: Depending on temperature, the full charging process may take several days up to two weeks. If the AED has recently been used, fully recharging may take up to three days at normal room temperature of 68°F (20°C). During this period, the alert symbol (!) will appear on the readiness display. When the alert symbol disappears, the unit is capable of delivering at least six shocks or providing 42 minutes of ON-time.
Even after the device shows "OK" on the readiness display, the CHARGE-PAK will continue trickle-charging the internal battery until full capacity is reached. This may take up to two weeks at normal room temperature. Lower temperatures will extend charging time. Please note: charging may not be possible at temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
